It is used as a decorative, insecticidal & protective weatherproof coating. It gives a translucent reddish brown coating. It is ideal for protection of wooden ceiling, rafters, doors and windows. It can also be applied on bamboo furniture and structures to enhance their rustic natural look. Cashew nut shell liquid or CNSL is extracted from cashew nut shell. CNSL, in its raw form, is non-drying oil, rich in phenolic content which is well known from ancient times, for its insecticidal and anti-termite property. Since it is non-drying oil it cannot be used for surface coating purpose. However, it was extensively used for the painting on the bottom of wooden boats for the protection of timber. Now new technology has developed an air drying varnish coating based on CNSL to give a durable decorative coating. Instruction For Use
- Use Gloves/ Hands and fo removal of leftover grease Kerosene Oil followed by Soap Washing.
- Takes 24-48 hours to dry after application.
